We saw that one of the co-owners learned about Mexican cuisine while in Arizona. Being from Arizona we had to see how they translated Mexican cuisine. The verdict, not bad.
The style is somewhat of a Sonoran and Tex-Mex fusion. Similar to our fast dining taco stands versus our family sit down places.
The ingredients were fresh with Mexican flavors. In particular I was interested in the hot sauce, I enjoy very spicy food so tried the naga and found it hot but not at the scale we will find near or across the Mexican border. Very flavorful and enjoyable.
The birria also had a good smokey flavor. We did not add any heat to it, very flavorful overall.
The spice bag reminded me of the corn chip bags we can get with various meats and veggies. No corn chips in it but the style was similar.
The place was clean with friendly staff. Quick and well priced. Overall it was enjoyable and very flavorful. read more
