I ordered lunch from the Bop Bar food truck today in the Loop. It was stationed on the west side of Wacker between Monroe and Adams along with a decent selection of other food trucks. While standing in the short line, I mentally changed my order from a bulgogi rice plate to a bulgogi with fries to a bulgogi sandwich. When it my turn to bat, I finally ordered the beef bulgogi rice plate. The order comes out fairly quickly, which is what you want out of a food truck. The beef bulgogi is fine but not the most delicious I've eaten. The scoop of white rice is generous, and there is a bit of shredded lettuce. The star of this plate to me was actually the flavorful glassy noodles (japchae I believe). Overall a solid Korean lunch in downtown. read more
