The Bothell Library was cool in temperature when I arrived around 12:15 p.m. this midday, Tuesday 15 August 2023. Inside the entrance, on a wall of the entryway, was a water fountain equipped both for drinking and filling water bottle(s). The sections of the library were well labeled and the interior had an overall spacious feel. Parking out front of the library was abundant. Looking through the DVD section, I found a few titles I was interested in watching and decided to check them out. A worker at the regular check out was busy with another patron, so I decided to go with self check out. The computer and barcode scanner were straightforward to use. Below the keys on the keyboard was a sticker with a 2023 calendar, which was helpful for finding the day of the week corresponding to the due date(s) for the items I checked out. read more
