Brew + Brie Cafe located in Midtown Toronto along Castlefield and Yonge is a new cafe serving up coffee, pastries (lots of croissants, cupcakes, etc.), and will soon offer charcuterie. They share a space with Uptown Brie (a cheese and deli meat store) next door. They have some indoor benches where you can enjoy your coffee and pastries but they also have some outdoor seating available (when the weather is nice). The previous business in this space was also a coffee shop but the interior has now been renovated where it feels light, airy, and feminine. I stopped by Brew + Brie Cafe on their opening day. The barista was extremely friendly and the space looked amazing. I opted to grab a cortado which was made well. There were several pastries for sale at the counter. I did overhear that they will be doing take out charcuterie in the future (makes sense as they share a space with Uptown Brie) as well as lunch sandwiches! I was also able to browse at Uptown Brie which was nice as well. Overall, cute space, great coffee, and friendly staff. Can't wait to return to try their charcuterie! read more
