This convention was so cool! We drove an hour to come here, but it was worth the short 45 minutes we spent inside. Admission was $5, but parking was $20!!! That is as much as Disneyland, yikes! The convention was downstairs in the Pasadena Convention Center. It was pretty small, but the tables were packed in tight.
Bricks LA consists of vendors and Adult Fans of Legos that display their awesome, original, innovative creations. There was everything from Star Wars, to Stranger Things Vignettes, to an epic Christmas Village. The vendors were selling personalized/engraved Lego items, retired sets, rare sets, polybags, minifigures, and more! Most of those prices were inflated, but a lot of it is stuff you can't find at the Lego store anymore.
As a huge fan of Legos, I thought this convention was super fun. I was in awe at all of the amazing Lego creations. I'm not sure how much it varies from year to year, but if you haven't been and live nearby, I highly recommend it! It's a quick, fun family outing, especially if you or your kids love Legos. read more
