I love having another great restaurant on the Southside! I'm not a huge BBQ person, and in fact, I usually hate ribs. This place changed my mind! The burnt ends, ribs, and jalapeno sausage are great. I don't know what it is about the macaroni and cheese, but it's my favorite in Des Moines. The corn muffins are delicious! It's hard (but possible) to mess up fries; theirs come out hot and crispy. I'm not sure what others are talking about with bad service, both times I've gone, I have had good service and felt welcomed. The place was clean. read more
