I'm going to give this place 3 stars ONLY because hands down this was the best beef patty I've ever had in my life!!!! Stopped here on our way to the layout around 12:40pm and first of all the door was locked with all the staff inside and a note on the door that said they were in a staff meeting and wouldn't be open until 1pm. I thought that was EXTREMELY unprofessional as staff meetings should be held outside of normal business hours, either before opening or after closing. Next, the staff wasn't very friendly or inviting. I felt rushed to order and pushed along. I ended up getting 2 mild beef patties and an order of brown stew chicken with cabbage and rice and peas. The cabbage and rice was good but I didn't care for the brown stew chicken. It was sweet and almost had a barbecue sauce kind of taste. Now that beef patty! Delicious 10/10, seasoned and spiced perfectly, meat was a nice minced texture, the crust flaky and delicious. I will definitely be back for more beef patties when I go to Brooklyn, but probably nothing else. read more
