You can keep your St David's 2 developments and your fancy apartments overlooking the bay, if you want a (deep fried) slice of real Cardiff then this is the place to come.
Head upstairs upon entering the market and make you way past the pet shop or Kelly's records (depending on which end you enter) and slap bang in the middle you'll find the Bull Terrier Café with its panoramic views of this glorious building, its interesting characters and its bloody pigeons.

If you've hit the sauce the night before and now find yourself being dragged around town, then cut the ties and head straight here. Yeah it could be cleaner, but it's a greasy spoon in the market y'know?
I love this place. read more
