This is a great alternative for a stay. The rooms are cheap, clean and very basic. I stay in bed and breakfasts from time to time and this gave me that feeling.
The positives: It was cheap. $50. It had a flat screen hotel with basic cable (over 70 channels). It had a corner shower. The bathroom was updated. The history is very interesting (ask about the fireplace!) It was very quiet. Hunters were staying there using all the other rooms and I never heard them or their tv's. The owner was very helpful. I had heard some bad things about the cobblestone there and when I mentioned it to the owner, she defended them stating she had never heard a bad word about them at all (great ethics!).
The negatives: No wifi. The beds linens had very little comfort in them. basic sheet and thin blanket style comforter. I had to use a blanket to get some weight to it. There is no breakfast, but a great shop across the street! read more
