Ok. If you like quaint, off the main drag places...this is for you. The place got my attention when I saw the road signs boasting craft beer and "legit" pizza. Sold. Boardman is not a place I would expect either (sorry, B...it's just your remoteness). But once you drive up to the place you are immediately captured by the homeyness of the building and the property. Go inside and you find a standard restaurant and long bar. We were warmly greeted and seated, and placed our order. I had a house IPA and my daughter had an ice tea to drink. We were first presented four freshly baked breadsticks (2 each of cheese and butter/garlic). They were soft and had a nice sweet wheaty nuttiness. The pizza came next. We opted for a BYO with pepperoni and Canadian bacon. Great look and flavor...though I thought there was a little too much cheese (my daughter disagrees). Overall, a great decision to stop. read more
