My fiancé and I made a reservation for a Saturday night, and good thing we did! The place is small and was fully booked.
The service was really friendly and relatively quick. The menu is small and includes a bunch of different sharing plates. They recommend 2 per person for a full meal.
We got the grilled scallops, which came with just two in mojo verde which is a cilantro/vinegar sauce. It was delicious and perfectly tender!
We also got the duck tartare. We love beef tartare and were intrigued by this unique offering and it did not disappoint!
Next, we had the grilled maitake mushrooms with pickled chanterelle mushrooms and a bernaise sauce. The edges of the mushrooms were a bit charred and had the perfect smokiness. The combination of flavours was delicious and unlike anything I've tasted in a while!
Lastly, we had the grilled seabass which to our pleasant surprise was deboned. It was tasty and the skin was crispy.
