Sorry Toasties, when I first saw the name years ago I thought you just drop 2 slices of bread in a toaster or only made grilled cheese sandwiches.
So when I dropped by at the new place at 7:30 AM I was surprise to see you was a full sandwich shop with hot and cold sandwiches, salads, juice bar, even egg omelettes with your choice of add on. and of course the morning breads, muffins, croissants, coffee, etc.
I was overwhelm by all the options but then I saw House Combo a
Grilled Pastrami With Corned Beef, Melted Swiss Cheese, Coleslaw & Russian Dressing. well why not ?
it was good, maybe not like if I was at Katz's Delicatessen but I ate it, only I had to switch to a fork to eat the Coleslaw because it just fell out and I wasn't going to try and put it between the bread again.
Sandwich ran me like $10 plus and like $4 for a coffee which was reasonable. read more
