We made reservations in advance at an early hour, 5:30 (they open at 5) as we had an event to attend and we were promptly seated. The restaurant was better than half full and I can imagine that they just kept getting busier. Warm, French style bread with an herbed compound type butter followed our being seated along with drink and food menus. The wine menu is extensive. My husband ordered two appetizers for dinner so as to save room for key lime pie; French onion soup and a pear/blue cheese salad. The salad was very large and he was unable/unwilling to finish it lol. The soup was very hot, thick and tasty. I ordered the diver scallops with shrimp. They were beautifully presented and cooked perfectly. They came with a bearnaise sauce and were accompanied by mashed potatoes, beans (fava?), shredded sweetened carrots, rice and tomato Provençal. Of the four items, i tried them all but I only ate the carrots. I may have been missing something but the sides were very bland. The key lime pie was gorgeously presented and an unusual take from the traditional pie. It was delicious. The staff were very attentive and friendly and the rest rooms were clean. I am glad that we came and would like to try again. read more
