Small and cozy place! Highly recommend making a reservation ahead if time if dining in on weekends. We decided to do a walk in and luckily squeezed ourselves in for 2 on a very busy Saturday night! After exploring the various realms of Italian foods, I decided to be less adventurous and stick with the stuff I knew would be a hit. Between the two of us, we had the bruchetta, roasted red pepper soup (special of the day), gnocchi and a seafood linguine (also special of the day). Food and service was great considering how busy it was. However my order came out missing some ingredients - paid for additional seafood as it was a special, but only got half of what was listed on the menu. No biggie, the waitress too care of it and gave us a complimentary dessert on the house. Love the no fuss customer treatment. To me, how a restaurant deals with customer complaints is key to customer retention. Food wise, the pasta was great. Really creamy sauce - definitely a hearty portion (gluten free pasta option also available). The gnocchi was OK. Having tasted what could only be described as "melt in your mouth drops of heaven" in Halifax - best gnocchi ever - this was much denser and a bit chewier in comparison. Will come back to try their patio when the weather gets warmer! read more
