Stopped by for an afternoon snack and found it fairly empty, so we could sit in any seat. The air conditioning is very strong, so be aware that it will be chilly if you are sitting under a vent. There are TV's everywhere so don't worry about not seeing something sports related from where you're sitting.
Our waitress was timely and had a great attitude. We ordered a Seafood Platter to share and it was plenty. It contained fried oysters, shrimp, frog legs, hush puppies, and deviled crab, cole slaw and french fries. Their cocktail sauce might be canned or bottled but it went very well with the platter.
The restaurant is heavily decorated with Auburn and Alabama gear, which I expected because we were deep in the heart of Dixie! The menu contained other items I'd like to try as I don't think I had their best with the "heart attack on a platter". I hear their seafood buffet is another event that is not to be missed. I will try to make it back here again if I find myself in this neck of the woods. read more
