Every year for the last 3 years I've visited Brampton to hang out with family and we always end up spending at least one night at Calypso Hut! The pepper shrimp is my go to and the wontons are yummy too. The mixed drinks are pretty tasty too but they can creep up on you. The owner Jerry is a blast, super nice guy and always friendly. SuperBLAZE is another amazing individual who works there too and the bartenders are great. The crowd could be hit or miss depending on the night and if an event is going on but regardless when I'm there I always enjoy myself. Just don't expect to hold any decent conversations because the music does get very loud. read more
