We're from out of town (way out - Japan). But my wife and our two girls wanted to try East Coast Italian cuisine (I'm from NY). Excellent choice. Small, not ritzy, but these guys trained well in the art of Italian food creation. Simple? Yes. Hot and fresh? Definitely. My girls loved it.
