UPDATE After having the screens for several weeks I've discovered that pet screens aren't truly cat proof! $350 later and a couple of the screens already have rips and tears. I'll probably end up replacing the screens again eventually. Also, one of the screen doors is missing a handle. I missed that the day Mr. Greaves returned the screens.
needed several of my window and patio door screens replaced and found Capstone via a Google search. My brother called and spoke to Mr. Greaves (owner), who stated he could do the repair. Mr. Greaves called me a couple of days later and made an appointment to visit my home. Capstone offers a free pick-up option, or the screens can be repaired on-site.
I was told that the patio screen doors would cost $90 each and each window screen (4) would cost $25. I opted to get pet mesh since I have cats. Mr. Greaves said he'd take the screens to his store for repair, and he'd return them the following day. He also said he'd send me an estimate via email.
I received the estimate, and it was much higher than anticipated. The window screens (two different sizes) were $30 and $40 each instead of $25. I didn't make a fuss about it since I know the pet mesh is more expensive. The patio screen doors did cost $90 each, though, just like Mr. Greaves initially stated. The bill for the six screens was $352.
Hopefully, the pet mesh does the trick, and I won't need to replace the screens again. If that's the case, then the price will be money well spent. I appreciate the pick-up/drop-off service provided by Capstone. I wouldn't hesitate to contact them again or refer them to friends. read more
