Casa Augusto was a very relaxing spot to stay for our 2 nights in Capri. Pretty gardens, citrus trees and flowers, and nice little patio w/ table where we we enjoyed breakfast in the morning (included, 9-10 am), and played some cards/cribbage or had a glass of wine in the afternoon. The room was simple, but comfortable. Just 3 rooms downstairs, and Augusto and his family live upstairs. Typical to Capri, there are quite a few stairs going down/up to get to Casa Augusto and then up a pretty steep hill to get to the street to walk into town. And it is just 10 minute walk to the Marina Piccolo beach, but down a few hundred stairs, and (of course) up a few hundred stairs to get back up. I was feeling a bit under the weather, so the stairs affected me more than normal. But overall, a very enjoyable stay. read more
