A Winder Must-Visit: Outstanding Food, Legendary Service, and Unbeatable Local Vibe If you are looking for an authentic local spot with personality, phenomenal food, and warm Southern hospitality, Casey's in downtown Winder is the place to go. From the classic hand-painted red brick mural on the outside ("Not the biggest... Just the best!") to the chalkboard walls, tiled tables, and local signs inside, the entire place has an awesome, nostalgic neighborhood energy. World-Class Service What really made our visit top-tier was Heather. She delivered incredible service from start to finish--attentive, friendly, and welcoming. She went above and beyond by treating Robert and me to a couple of sample bites: Smoked Chicken Salad: Rich, creamy, and packed with full-bodied smoked flavor and a Chili Vermont Cheese Hotdog: A loaded masterpiece topped with rich chili and shredded cheese that instantly makes you want to order a full one. The Main Event For the main meal, Robert and I both ordered the Pimento Cheese Bacon Burger with a side of fresh hand-cut fries: The Burger: Outstanding. Generous, thick-cut crispy bacon overhangs the bun, loaded with creamy pimento cheese over a juicy patty. The Fries: Perfectly golden, hot, salted, and served with just the right amount of crispiness.
