I tried one of their house specials, the hummingbird latte, and it's deceptively simple-- just milk, their in-house simple cane syrup, and their coffee blend-- but that simplicity is what lets the coffee shine. The chocolate, the dried fruit, and hazelnut notes come through beautifully, and the beans themselves are luxurious: smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced without any bitterness or burnt taste. The ambience is incredible-- set in what used to be an old theater, the space is full of charm and creativity. There are games, a community piano, and a vibe that's calm, relaxing, fun, and fresh all at once. The service is equally impressive. The barista was super knowledgeable and genuinely excited to answer all my questions about drinks and recommendations--no "let me check," just confident, informed guidance.
