Being that my husband's favorite food is Mexican, this is one of our local go tos. The owner and staff are extremely welcoming, kind, and attentive. They just recently expanded this restaurant and I couldn't be happier for them. The food has never let us down. Never! They start you off with complimentary nachos and salsa. For apps, we ordered the Creamy Gorgonzola Jalapeño Mussels - ufff, this sauce though?! Obsessed! We almost asked for more bread for dipping lol We also tried their Pupusa (Revuelta) for the first time and loved it! I'm part Salvi so I'm picky with where I order pupusas from but, I wasn't disappointed at all. Their Molcajete Mixto is my fave, however, this most recent visit, I tried their Molcajete Marinero, as it was a weekly special & our waiter highly recommended it. It was delish! My husband had the Enchiladas Mixtos, instead of his usual fave, Enchiladas Suizas, and didn't leave a crumb on his plate. For drinks, I had a cosmo - yummy yummy (ended up having 2 ) & my husband had a Coors. For dessert, I had their weekly special, Coconut Flan & my husband, his usual Tres Leches. My husband doesn't even like flan & he enjoyed some bites of mine hehe They had live music going on when we went. We were a little confused though - it wasn't Mexican music!
