We decided to support a local small business with some friends. When we arrived we weren't sure what to expect since it's a very modest appearance from the outside not really resembling a winery we were used to seeing. We are gave each other the "what have we gotten ourselves into" look. We were greeted immediately upon entering and proceeded with a tasting. Tasting fee is waived with a bottle purchase. I tried the Mormor Riesling, VNA Viogner... and some reds to round out the tasting- Tried the Confluence Red Blend, Watershed Merlot, Cab Barrel Select and Syrah (shared some with the hubbie). The Riesling was my favorite of the whites and which we purchased some along with some dessert wine- LaRue since they don't have wine tastings or glasses of the dessert wine. My husband liked the Cab Barrel select so we also purchased that one. The prices for the bottles were reasonable especially considering it's a small winery and the costs sometimes get high for smaller inventory. The husband and wife were hospitable and we were welcome to sit outside by the roaring fire but chose to relax inside with our friends. A few extra spots inside to sit would be nice but it's a cozy small area. There is a public washroom inside. Overall it was a nice visit and we would return.
