i opened a cefcu account so i could get my government deposit. i opened the account. the deposit came i called to make sure it was in my account they said it was. so we drove to cefcu get up to the teller counter gave my id. teller said the cash was in there but i couldn't withdrawal it. my account wasnt all the way open or something. someone in bloomington had to sign something to make my account active and that person was out of town/ on vacation so they had to appointment someone else to do it. i been waiting on my stimulus to come. i called cefcu on the 17th when the direct deposit came. called in the. morning they said it would be done by 1. i called back at 1 they said it would be done by 3.got ahold of someone who says cefcu receives thousands of files from the irs. cefcu says them files they recieve they have to go through and manually hand post each one to their customers accounts!! cefcu said sometimes account info is wrong so they have to look up the right info and post such to their customers accounts. i was told this on Facebook from cefcus facebook page. but if you go to cefcu. com it states stimulus without account info will be sent back to the irs. cefcu's ach automatic clearing house is closed on weekends. the national clearing house is open weekends. so of the national clearing house sends cefcu a deposit over the weekend and its a emergency and you need the cash to clear. you just gotta wait til they open back up on Monday. their system is super slow. they keep opening up other cefcu branches i dont see why they don't spend the cash on a new system read more
