Walking by the Zocalo there are plenty of restaurants to choose from and on this morning while walking around the waiter asked us to give them a try. We sat outside under a tent and you can see the restaurant on one side and the Zocalo on the other side. We asked for coffee, torta cemita and divorced eggs. The last are called divorced eggs because they have two different sauces, one side green and the other has red.
Anyway, the table was dirty so had to ask for it to be cleaned.
As for the food, it was ok a bit overpriced but nothing to complain about. on the other hand the coffee was not good at all. Had to leave it and bought it somewhere else. The service was ok since there was not many people in the morning at the restaurant.
I hope the coffee improves since neither one of us liked it.
The cemita needed the flavor of the papalo which this makes the cemita. read more
