I've seen the adverts and seen the prices and have argued with my dearest wife that it wasn't worth the money staying there. She booked anyway and I've had to eat a load of humble pie. She was right and I wasn't. I should have known better as the concept was invented in the Netherlands and after all I'm Dutch! I loved the concept, the villa we stayed in was fabulous, much better than a hotel room for sure. Living in the forest is magical, especially as all the cars had to park off-site after unloading luggage and thereafter your feet or 2 wheels are the only method of transport. The only time you see lots of people is during check-in and check-out times. The rest of the time it doesn't seem that busy at all. The amount of activities available are amazing. Apart from the swimming they are extra to pay for, but really it's not a big deal. The people in the resort are fantastic, this includes the cleaning staff and all the service staff in the restaurants. They really have been trained to make sure you have a wonderful experience. The food was of a very high quality and plenty of choice of different menu options. And of course you don't have to go out for food, you have all the facilities for self-catering. We had an executive villa and it was fantastic. Just the right facilities and very comfortable. You can guess by this review that I will be back next year! read more
