WOW. I noticed the crowd on our first day in town so went back every day after that! This is a one-cook CLEAN well-managed little restaurant doing an amazing job with the basics. We had the incredible pork tacos, the perfectly simple grilled fish tacos and the unforgetable fried shrimp tacos. The shrimp was fresh and fried as if in a tempura batter. The tacos were plain, then accompanied with a beautiful condiment tray; creamy coleslaw, green chile puree, avocado salsa, pico de gallo. They are only open for breakfast and lunch so get there early. It is about a block south of the Zocalo - so easy access! read more
