The Thrillist called this one of the better places to eat in Newark Airport's Terminal A so I didn't check the Yelp reviews. My bad. The Thrillist said it's the airport's answer to Shake Shack. Huh? Answering what question?
It's cheap. A burger with a giant patty is under $7. But it was sloppily made from mediocre ingredients. The burger meat was dense, overcooked, and a bit liver-y in flavor. Yellow cheese, a slice of tomato, some onions and lettuce.
The chocolate shake was good. Creamy, rich, nicely chocolatey, like softened ice cream. The paper turtle-friendly straw doesn't really work; ask for a spoon (and so much for avoiding plastics).
Disappointing. read more
