Sadly, Oregon has now made pump-your-own-gas legal statewide. A sad day for this girl who is Oregon born and bred and still hates pumping her own gas, even though between going to college and moving east I have had to do so for years. However (at the present, at least) the majority of the stations in the state are required to have half of their pumps full serve (or actually, mini serve) and half self serve. They're identified so you know which is which. I was annoying to wait five minutes for the attendant to come out and pump. There weren't that many people at the gas station at that time... were the other three or so folks all inside at the same time, or was the guy hoping that by leaving me wait I'd change my mind?
