I've been to this Chevron (in Lancaster) several times. It's a mediocre/average gas station, with more cons than pros, as follows:
The Pros:
* Several pumps are available with pay-at-the-pump capability.
* A pretty good-sized, well-stocked minimart is available for folks on-the-go.
* A drive-thru carwash is available.
* A fast-food hamburger business called "M&G Burgers" is co-located here.
* There's a lady that works here that is friendly and professional.
The cons:
* All the equipment here looks old and run-down, and the gas pumps are the worst.
* The gas pumps will sometimes not print out a receipt, and it's annoying to have to walk in to get a print-out of your gas purchase. This defeats the purpose of a pay-at-the-pump capability.
* There are weeds growing all over the place!
* There's a guy that works here that isn't too friendly, and it's hard to understand him (he does not speak fluent english).
* I have yet to see the carwash actually operational.
* The gas prices are typically higher than all other nearby locations.
* If you need water for your radiator or air for your tires it'll cost you. It's frustrating to have to pay for something that should be free.
There are a lot of other options for a quick fill-up and snacks. I think I'll start looking for a business that offers a more pleasant experience, with more reasonable prices. read more
