This year, we finally made it to Chi at Peppermill for dinner! Yay! I had wanted to go to this restaurant for so long! First of all, the look and decor is beautiful, sexy, downright retro swanky. See pics! The food is delicious. Each dish is served in large portions. My husband and I ordered the Mongolian beef with white rice. The meat was tender and the sauce was very flavorful, not overly sweet or salty, just perfection! Unfortunately, we had eaten a large breakfast earlier in the day so we only tasted this one dish. It was enough to make us want to come back for a larger dinner in the future, though. The service was equally excellent. Our waiter, in training, John, was terrific. Friendly, helpful, efficient. This is a great place for a romantic date night. The complementary almond cookies are sooo good as well. Wish we could have bought a box of them. Yummmmm read more
