When we stayed in Eliot, we went to the White Heron twice for coffee. The space itself is a good size with a large menu and other goods for sale., including some cute greeting cards (I bought two). The first time I went, I ordered a medium iced latte with an extra shot. It was huge! Probably 12oz of milk. My second visit, I ordered a small iced latte with 3 shots - this was the perfect ratio for me. I also got the lavender syrup which was delicious and floral - not soapy. We also tried their breakfast sandwiches which were tasty. I opted for the egg, cheese, Canadian bacon, and Tabasco Mayo. Recommended! A solid coffee shop in this neck of the woods! read more
