I'm certainly pleased working with Isaac, William and their crew! They were not the highest or lowest of our initial bids, but they were reasonable people I felt I could trust. As with any project, there are set backs and things that don't go as planned (and additional costs beyond the build, but still related adjacently; a way the cost goes up in addition to the builders proposal.) But what makes the people at Chisel & Tool different is how they handle the challenges. I'm sure there were many frustrations on their end, beyond my full knowledge, but with us, the customer, we talked through solutions if needed and eventually, things worked out. But honestly, there wasn't as many issues as there could have been and the cost was very reasonable and competitive. Clear communication on both ends are key. So let your wishes be known as soon as possible to avoid headaches. Overall, to build a whole ADU from a garage, they did a fantastic job and I'm so pleased! read more
