My best friend has a Cineworld unlimited card and so always suggests meeting there to see a film as she pays a flat monthly rate for...err.... unlimited films presumably. I don't, and not because I don't have a need for it (I personally think it's great) and not because I don't like Cineworld but because it's a bit awkward to get to.
If you live outside the city in the surrounding areas and you have a car then the choice is presumably for the Odeon which is in a huge multiplex with free parking and roomy gallery seats. Cineworld is smack bang in the middle of the city and so parking is always an issue.
The cinema itself is pretty good but odd in terms of the set up. It's tall but a bit thin and so as Laura has mentioned, there are lots of escalators and stairs which is a bit annoying.
Cineworld gets much respect from me for showing some of the less well known films and so if you're eager to see something that you can't find in the Odeon, then Cineworld will probably be your best bet. read more
