Parrs Wood Cineworld is your classic suburban huge cinema studio situated in a complex that includes the likes of Pizza Hut, Chiquito's, Burger King and Nando's. It's the kind of place you go to and hang out when you're too young to go to the pub. They've got loads of screens showing all he biggest mainstream blockbusters and kids films several times a day, and you can even see films in 3D. If you want to see something, you can basically guarantee it'll be on here. As well as the standard popcorn and fizzy drinks shop, its also got a full bar so you can have a beer or a glass of wine before your film if you so desire. If you do this, you will probably have to leave the film to go to the toilet, and miss the crucial moment of the film. Still, its nice to have the option. Its really more of a family cinema experience, and its in any way arty or cultured. On Saturday mornings kids can see films for a mere quid. If you're going on a date though, I recommend staying away from the noisy youths and going for The Cornerhouse instead. read more
