The groomers at Clippendales have never disappointed me by making sure my Yorkies are clipped exactly as I requested. In the winter months I like their coats to be kept longer and much shorter in the summer. What's really important to me is that my dogs are comfortable going there. No the crates are not fancy dog pens but they are really large with plenty of room for the dogs to move around. But since the grooming is done in a very timely manner, the dogs don't need to be in a vast area to run around in. I also really like that everything is out in the open, even the crates and grooming tables, so you can see exactly what's being done to your pet. Most places take your dogs to a back room where you don't see them for about 5 or more hours later. I think this also helps keep the dogs at ease since someone is always in their view. The way I look at it is my Yorkies are there to be groomed and then come home; not to spend the whole day there where I would insist on a large, fancy facility.
