What a fun discovery on my first visit to Wheaton! This quaint mini-golf course brought back childhood memories of nights spent miniature golfing with my dad and the pure innocent fun it was. This is a very well maintained little course with some water features but none of the mechanical hazards you normally find at the larger courses. I enjoyed the nice landscaping and found this was a great way to pass an hour. When I was there, I saw a grandmother playing a round with her grandson and a young family following behind them. The price for a Wheaton resident is $5 for adults and $4 for children (15 years old or younger) and senior citizens. I couldn't think of a better way to spend my morning.
This is very well hidden next to the train track so it is easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. There is also a skate park right next door that I did not try out because I would probably break a bone. read more
