I read on Google news that Target had a Robot that paints nails. I've been wanting to go ever, since I read the article. I was finally able to check it out! It was a success! I'll give you all the dets. First of all you book your appointment online. Pay online. The cost is $9.99. However, you get 2.00 off if it's your first time by using a promocode. Also, the Robot is called Clockwork for a reason. Your to be at your appointment on time, like clockwork! The bot allows you to be ten minutes behind schedule but after ten minutes your appointment is cancelled and you have to reschedule. It's kind of scary at first but, they have an attendant, Dianna to show you and explain the process. She suggested, I file my nails and push the cuticles back. They have tools for you to do that as well. She said the bot uses the finest polishes like OPI and essie. The Robot doesn't use actual nail Polish. The color is in a tube and she inserts it into the bot. A video is displayed to show you how to place your hand, elbows and fingers. You have to sit very still too. As the video is playing she encourages you to do what the video is showing so, you can prepare for your Mani. The color slowly goes on beginning with the outer and finishing up in the center. It was fun to watch the bot do it's magic. Some nails were imperfect, like clumpy or missed the edges. Dianna gladly removed the nail color and I started over on the color. That was a nice touch. She put OPI quick drying drops that created a glossy finish and helped it dry fast. My nails dried in 10 minutes! Dianna suggested I put a topcoat so it can last 3-4 weeks. Target was pretty crowded. I've never seen it like this before. A lot of shoppers were passing by curious about the Nailbot. Customers were like, Do want to get your nails done? Is that where you get your nails done? Oh, does it work? Let me see? How much does it cost? A lot of little girls wanted to try it too. It was so exciting being part of the hype! Alot of people were asking Dianna where stuff was in the store. Lol. It was so annoying. She politely said, ask the people in the Red shirts. Dianna was very helpful. She helped me take photos so I can show my yelp fam. In conclusion, Target brought one and done to a whole nother level, Artificial Intelligence Level that is. Im so glad they did. I will be back try others colors. Next time, you need your nails painted and want a bot to do it, check out this Target Location. Overall, it was a good read more
