This restaurant is located inside Super Mercado Jalisco #7 (supermarket), and is on the right as soon as you walk in. Every time I have been here, I've seen the same 2 ladies running the place (both front and back of the house). Don't expect anything spectacular as far as the cleanliness. In my plain sight from my booth I saw a bag of potatoes and a mop bucket with dirty water in it. This place is a little outdated, but if you don't mind that, keep reading!
As far as the food, the prices are great. Tacos go for $1.99 and are a pretty decent size. You can choose from asada, chorizo, pollo, pastor, carnitas, and barbacoa. I had the asada and felt like the tacos needed more salt and seasoning, but nothing a little salt and spicy salsa from the condiment bar couldn't fix (which I'm glad they had a decent salsa/toppings bar). The quesadilla meal on the other hand was delicious, served with rice, beans, and a mini salad mix (lettuce, tomato, and avocado). The quesadilla itself was packed to the gills in my opinion and was topped with a creamy sauce. Definitely a good pick for $7.99 as this dish could easily go for over $12 at a franchise joint.
Would I come back? Probably. Have I had better? Yes. But as I always say, support the locals! read more
