Newly opened in the Old West Plaza is a quaint coffee shop that is locally owned and operated. They serve cinnamon rolls from a local bakery in Gilbert - Rise Up Bakery. Since it is locally owned and operated, the owner was the only person working Sunday which did make for a long wait (about 30 minutes).
My cousin and I got drinks and a cinnamon roll. She said she liked her iced chai, and my americano was okay but a little weak. I originally was intrigued by the sun tea or even the cold brew, but they were out of both which I sort of expect on a Sunday (end of the week). Overall, the price point of the drinks was pretty decent and I can see us returning to try different drinks to get a better taste of the selection they have to offer.
Always great to see a new local business and hope the community supports! read more
