I've always had a soft spot for laundromats. Just love the idea of a laundromat that serves coffee as well and Coin Clean is just that! They have several machines and driers and though the laundry services are a bit expensive, it's worth it if you're here during a long trip from home. Most of the customers seem to be foreigners who are here to clean up their laundry on their month long vacation to Canada. The SnowDome coffee bar located in one corner of the laundromat is more than just a coffee bar. They serve a few baked foods but nothing extraordinary. The coffee is danesi's Italian coffee and that's been regarded as really high quality Italian espresso. They take their coffee quite seriously. The tea is also Two leaves and a bud - high quality. So even though the prices are a little high ($2 for a cup of tea), I think it's worth it. The best part though, it's an internet cafe! They have about 6 computers that are coin operated and also have wireless at $3 an hour. I wish they had a few more plug points. They had, I think 6 plug points. It's not bad, but it would have been good if they had a few more. All in all, it's a great place to take a break from trekking or whatever you have been doing, get a cup of tea and log into the internet. I don't like that their washrooms are also coin operated, but I'll live with it! read more
