This place has a few owners but is primarily run by 4 women. I hope I get all of my facts straight, but they are the last washboard manufacturer in the US! Several different sizes and it was great to see them put together. They offer tours, sales, a really cute ice cream stand and more. They've been featured on WOSU and I think the history channel. People still order for off the grid living, decoration, and one other reason. I forget that one sorry! They also have a map with pins of every location they've shipped to! (Near Siberia was a pin I found to be neato).
This sort of labor of love is worth supporting. Finding owners in house who care about their customers and their trade is reason enough for me to stop every time I'm in town. You should to. read more
