Quietly, last spring, CommonSpace opened their second location in Ardmore. This space, formerly a Pilates Studio, became a community art studio, where people could come to make art, take a yoga class, play board games, join a knitting circle. This former "corner store" layout is wonderful for all of these activities, with lots of room for tables and supplies. There's a private bathroom as well. Speaking of supplies - they have so much to create with! There's also displays of work by local artists for everyone to enjoy. I come to this space for their board game group, which is quite fun, and FDC is a regular at their knitting circle. The only challenge is with parking, which is street parking, however I've never had to go more than a block away to park. It's a great addition to Ardmore and I'm so glad to have it. read more
