My husband's office is a business casual, but he takes that privilege to the extreme. His daily uniform is ripped jeans, a ratty tee, and in the winter..a flannel button down shirt or a fleece half zip top. Apparently, a few of his co-workers have teased him about his choices in clothing to no avail. He hates to go shopping and holds on to his favorite shirts until they almost crumble apart. We had been to Commonwealth's store in Richmond. We kind of found that area of Richmond by accident, and that's a story for another time. The DC location of this hip men's (and women's) store is on Florida Avenue, under what used to be a gym (I think?). For the dudes, there are brands like Swagger and Phenomenon. For the chicks, really cool silk screened tees with Thelma and Louise on them. The stuff here is certainly a step up from what hubby normally wears, and he may or may not be getting something from Commonwealth for Valentine's Day. read more
