I regret not writing this review sooner. You know how that goes. It is one of those things you have been meaning to do but . . . Bassem is an honest, hard-working family man. True, his shop is old school with no fancy chairs or lights or seemingly any tidy organization--cords, computer parts and such are scattered all around--I am sure there is an order to all of the chaos, however. I came in here earlier this year thinking I needed to replace/reseal the glass on my iPhone since it was lifting up so much the light from the screen was visible all around the perimeter of the phone. I found out through Bassem, the quiet, gentle, generous owner, that it was my battery that was PUFFING UP LIKE A BALLOON (see pics) underneath pushing the glass up! Whoa! He, in a matter of minutes, and while engaging in pleasant friendly conversation, simply replaced the old puffy battery with a brand new slim one and charged me all of $20. That's it! He said all cell phone batteries do this. I had no idea! It seemed like a considerable safety hazard to me since eventually the batteries corrode and EXPLODE. WHAT?! I am sure no cell phone companies want to acknowledge this, so be forewarned, people! Also any other repair shop would have charged me a fortune to lift and forcefully reseal my glass rather than fix the actual problem with the battery. Thanks Bassem! You are a true gem of a guy! It warms my heart when fathers brag (albeit very modestly, but with much joy and pride) about their kids. Bassem very warmly, and sweetly shared a video of his child scoring an awesome goal on the soccer field. It is clear this man is capable, highly intelligent, honest and does everything for his family. Why would you go to any other guy for your repair needs than THIS guy? read more
