I am so glad I checked out Congregation Coffee Roasters! Fun fact: they actually get their name from the collective noun for a group of alligators, which is the perfect local nod.
The ambiance inside is fantastic-super inviting and beautifully designed. What really sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality. The baristas are incredibly friendly and love to strike up a good conversation while making your drink, making the whole experience feel like a true community hub.
As for the drinks, they are executing some of the most creative seasonal flavors in New Orleans. I ordered the Iced Honey Tahini Latte and it blew me away. The flavor profile was beautifully balanced; you get the distinct warmth of the honey and the rich, nutty earthiness of the tahini without losing the quality of the espresso itself. My wife went with the Horchata Latte and loved it just as much. It was sweet but not at all overpowering, capturing that classic, refreshing horchata taste perfectly.
Fantastic beans, stellar staff, and great vibes. We will absolutely be regulars here! read more
