This 2012 antique/vintage shoppe is open from 10 AM till 5:30 PM seven days a week. It is a clean, well-organized shoppe w/ quality wares. Staff (the owner & a vendor) were VERY FRIENDLY and HELPFUL. (Be sure to check in to receive 15% off any one item that is not marked "firm.")
I purchased mid-century framed art for my home, as well as a stamped, light blue 1960's Santa Anita Ware dish w/ a drip glaze. A friend purchased 1980's framed art as well as gorgeous sterling (925) earrings. Prices were reasonable-- definitely not too high. This appeared to be the case throughout the shoppe even though multiple vendors sell here.
A smaller-sized home, it has been converted & wonderfully transformed into a vintage shoppe. Within the six or so rooms, visitors will find vinyl albums; vintage clothing (one full room of it); many jewelry displays for men & woman; dishware & serving pieces; wall art; home decor; lamps; MCM furniture; & much more.
Parking spots on busy San Marco Avenue are few & far between, but there is plenty of free parallel parking along the many side streets. (Probably the best parking is directly behind the building.)
Best to avoid this area around dinnertime. It took us a great deal of time to leave the crowded area. I suggest visiting @ other times to avoid the heavy traffic. But DO stop in here; it's worth your time! I WILL return the next time I'm in the area. read more
