I stopped in to pick up some World Famous English Toffee for a party, and since I'd never tried it before, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I was amazed by the steady stream of customers coming through the door--many of them regulars who clearly knew exactly what they were there for! The sales associate was absolutely delightful and took the time to explain the different sizes and varieties available. I also enjoyed learning a bit about the shop's history. It's a charming little store that has been around for 53 years. Although the original owner sold the business to her neighbors about a decade ago, the original recipe has remained unchanged. The chocolate-covered toffee is simply outstanding. Each piece has that perfect buttery caramel crunch, coated in rich chocolate, making it incredibly addictive and well worth the price. One fellow customer even shared a great tip: save the crumbs and mix them into homemade chocolate chip cookie dough for an extra crunchy, toffee-filled treat. I'll definitely be trying that!
