Very cool place. It has the county courthouse at the center and a few restaurants and antique shops. It also has an old wooden house that was once a county seat. I went to a restaurant called the harvest here as well as the soda shop. The soda shop and the mercantile store next door are not for profit stores designed to help the town. They appear to be manned by kind volunteers and my parents and wife went to the mercantile and we all went to the soda shop before leaving. We had genuine blue bell here. I had a shake and my mom a banana split. My wife and father had sundaes.
The restaurant the harvest has its own page. I will do a review soon. I took pics of the soda shop. There were statues by the courthouse in the square. Comanche appears to be a great Texas town full of history and genuinely friendly people. I thoroughly recommend this outdoor mall. read more
