I first heard of Cozy quite by accident while browsing Ravelry, an online knit and crochet community. Cozy opened up July of 2016. My first visit to the store was a positive experience. There is quite the array of yarn to touch, lust after and ultimately add to your stash! There are well known brands such as Malabrigo, Cascade and Ewe Ewe as well as fiber from local artists like Blue Moon and DragynKnyts. Cozy has an open floor plan, is colorful, bright and inviting. A lot of that has to do with shop owner Karen Mortensen. She always welcomes you when you walk through those doors, remembers your name and is super helpful with expert advice should you need it. I was so impressed by the vibe of the store that I started to attend the knitting/crocheting groups that meet at Cozy. There have been multiple times that Karen has told customers that they are welcome to come in and knit or crochet at the tables outside of the designated times if they wanted.
